The exhibit is one idea rather than a catalogue spread: a 3phase track system delivered in a single brushed steel finish. The rail profile, the connectors, power feeds, end caps, suspension parts and adapters, and the finished LED track luminaire bodies are all shown in the same brushed metal appearance. A specifier or distributor who has ever tried to make a track ceiling look like one material should start here.

Why one finish is harder than it sounds
In most track projects the rail and the luminaire are bought from different places. The rail arrives in one supplier’s black or white, the luminaire body in another, and the adapter cover in a third. On a dark ceiling nobody notices.
A brushed metal finish removes that tolerance for mismatch, because the finish is directional. Grain, gloss level and the base material all change how the surface reads under light, and a small part processed in a different batch reads lighter or darker than the rail beside it. The effect is worst where the two meet — at the adapter, at the power feed, at the end cap.
A brushed steel look on one part is a finish choice. A brushed steel look across an entire system is a production problem. That is the problem this exhibit answers.
What the system covers
- 3phase track rail — the R0410 / R0420 four-wire, three-circuit platform, shown in the brushed steel finish.
- Connectors, power feeds, end caps — live end cup, straight, mini straight, L, T, X, hard and soft flexible connectors, end cups and long clamps, in the same finish as the rail.
- Suspension and mounting parts — suspension kits and mounting parts in the same finish as the rail.
- Track adapters — GT402, GT403 and GT406 adapters and DX405 driver boxes, in the same finish as the rail.
- Finished track luminaires — TL01–TL05 series luminaire bodies in the same finish.
The point is not that a rail can be finished in brushed steel. It is that the rail and everything that clips onto it can be finished together, so the installed ceiling reads as one material instead of three.
A finish has to hold at the joint, where the rail, the adapter and the luminaire body meet.
Three production routes, one finish
A track system is not one product. It is three unlike groups of parts:
- The rail — a long aluminium profile, extruded in fixed lengths.
- The accessory set — small die-cast, machined and stamped parts: straight, L, T, X and flexible connectors, power feeds, end caps, suspension clamps, adapters. Many varieties, and in a real project only a handful of pieces of each.
- The luminaire body — CNC-machined, die-cast and cold-forged aluminium bodies in several diameters, carrying optics, a driver and an adapter interface.
Normally those three groups come from three suppliers using three finishing lines, which is exactly how a ceiling ends up with three slightly different greys. JIN HAOTAI builds them inside one manufacturing chain — in-house R&D plus the injection, die-casting, CNC and moulding departments, and the housing kits that are assembled from them — and the surface treatment is applied to the rail, the accessory set and the luminaire bodies as one batch, on the same parameters. The manufacturing chain and the track housing programme are where that capability sits.
Two consequences follow, and both matter more in brushed metal than in paint:
- Small parts are worth finishing at all. A project may need 300 m of rail and twelve pieces of one connector type. Batching varieties together is what makes a short accessory list possible, instead of a finish that is only offered above a minimum quantity the project will never reach.
- The finish is repeatable rather than approximate. Reordering the same system a year later is a finishing question, not a matching question.
Finish range, minimum quantity and feasibility are confirmed per programme. Request the current finish sample and item list before releasing a specification.
What this is worth to an OEM or project programme
- One finish decision instead of a reconciliation exercise. Finish, labels and packaging are reviewed as part of the programme rather than as an afterthought across three suppliers. See OEM and ODM service.
- A coordinated system for project specification. A specifier can present one rail platform, one accessory set and one luminaire range that visibly belong together, which is a different conversation from a parts list.
- A finish reference that survives the drawing stage. A brushed finish should be agreed against a physical sample, not a screen. Bring the target to the stand and the sample can be judged under light.
- Multi-variety, low-quantity feasibility. The accessory mix on a real project is uneven, and that is the case this production model was built for.

Frequently asked questions
Is the rail solid stainless steel?
No, and it is worth being precise about it. The 3phase rail profile and the luminaire bodies are aluminium, and the stainless-steel appearance comes from a brushed metal surface finish applied to them. Stainless steel is the reference look, not the specified base material. Confirm the construction of each item against the current drawing, and where a project genuinely requires a particular base material, raise it as a component question rather than assuming it from the finish.
Does the finish cover the connectors, or only the rail?
The rail, the connectors, power feeds, end caps, suspension parts, adapters and the TL01–TL05 luminaire bodies are shown as one finished set. Confirm the exact item list for your platform, because surface and recessed installations use separate matched accessory ranges and the rail range lists them separately.
Can this finish be specified for my own OEM programme?
Component-level work such as surface finish, labels, packaging and compatible components can be reviewed for a suitable OEM or ODM programme. Feasibility depends on the product, the quantity and confirmed engineering requirements — see OEM and ODM service or bring the requirement to the stand.
Do I need a three-phase supply to use a 3phase track system?
Not necessarily. Three-circuit describes switching: the rail carries three live conductors that can be switched as up to three groups. Three-phase describes how the load is distributed across L1, L2 and L3. The two normally go together, but a four-wire rail can be fed from the supply that is actually available, and that arrangement has to be settled with your electrical designer. Which luminaires are shown with the system?
The system is shown with the finished track light housings from our KT001–KT010 range, and with the TL01–TL05 finished LED track luminaires whose datasheets are published on our main site, kinghaotai.com — fixed-beam and zoomable bodies, in black or white as standard and in the brushed steel finish for this exhibit. Beam, colour temperature and wattage options are confirmed per model.
Can I approve the finish before the fair?
A brushed finish does not travel well through a screen. Request the physical finish sample and the current item list by email, and judge it under the light of the intended installation. Where a programme is being released, work against an approved sample rather than a description.
