Layouts that change — exhibitions, seasonal retail displays, showrooms: magnetic modules can be moved along the rail without re-wiring the run.
Fixed layouts with defined switching groups: mains-voltage track with matched adapters and driver boxes, in 2-, 3- or 4-wire configuration.
Low visual presence in the ceiling: magnetic and small-aperture types are the ones usually specified for that.
Retrofit into an existing ceiling: confirm the profile and mounting method before choosing, because a magnetic rail and a mains rail do not interchange.

Can I put a magnetic module on a mains track?

No. The two platforms have different rails, attachment methods and supply arrangements, and they do not interchange.

Does the 48V platform need a driver?

Magnetic track runs from its own 48V supply, which is part of the platform. The exact configuration for a project is confirmed with the enquiry.

Which platform is used in museums?
